what is a show i never watch?
it took a lot of work
making questions
and decorating the board
it all lasted 5 quick min
and in the end team 2 won
what is a show i never watch?
it took a lot of work
making questions
and decorating the board
it all lasted 5 quick min
and in the end team 2 won
playing as a child
making a sandcastle
playing in the sand
protecting your creation
seems like just instinct
but in the bigger picture
resembles god watching over
his little creations
the end is near
my time is soon
soon to be meeting with my fate
i must go on
i must present
to not be nervous
and show my best
after a journey that is familiar to the hero
the hero is free to live
in a new society or place
that is unfamiliar to the hero
in this strange new place
the hero is lost and miserable
and must go on another journey
to find a better life to be free in
after his/her long strenuous journey
the hero is free to live
free to breathe
free to enjoy this new life
with full control of free will
sends the hero on his/her own
to have the life he/she has always wanted
the final challange
the final gatekeeper
the final threshold
crossing from one world
into another
will the result be for better?
or for worse?
the hero not being able to cross back
must start yet another journey
poem i found:
Steppenwolf – Magic Carpet Ride
I like to dream yes, yes, right between my sound machine
On a cloud of sound I drift in the night
Any place it goes is right
Goes far, flies near, to the stars away from here
Well, you don’t know what we can find
Why don’t you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride
You don’t know what we can see
Why don’t you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free
Close your eyes girl
Look inside girl
Let the sound take you away
Last night I held Aladdin’s lamp
And so I wished that I could stay
Before the thing could answer me
Well, someone came and took the lamp away
I looked around, a lousy candle’s all I found
Well, you don’t know what we can find
Why don’t you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride
Well, you don’t know what we can see
Why don’t you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free
Close your eyes girl
Look inside girl
Let the sound take you away
my poem:
on the hero’s journey
he/she finally decides to return home
driven by a magical force
which may be from the inside or out
the hero flees from his enemys on this journey
with the prize in hand
earned from this long journey
the hero at the end of his journey
feels accomplished and proud
in this new world everything is perfect
when the journey is over
the hero must return home
heisitant and not ready
the hero tries to stay put on the journey
instead of continuing it home
fear is an important part of te hero’s journey
fear must be kept out of the hero
and into his enemys
once the fear enters
like a virus it goes through the body
and is hard to get rid of
conquering this is all a part
of the hero’s journey
entering a new world
full of new responsibilities
the hero is completely changed
as he/she accepts the new challenges
that he/she will soon face
as a hero entirely different from
the beginning of his/her journey
